Renko charts are a type of chart that is commonly used in technical analysis to help traders identify trends and support/resistance levels in the market. These charts are created by plotting a series of "bricks" on the price chart, where each brick represents a fixed price movement (e.g. $0.50 or $1.00).

TradingView is a popular charting platform that allows users to create custom alerts based on various indicators and price levels. However, Renko charts are not natively supported in TradingView, which means that you cannot set up alerts directly on a Renko chart. This is because Renko charts are not built on a time-based x-axis, and instead are based on price movement.

To overcome this limitation, you can use some workarounds like creating the alerts based on the underlying instrument and then add the Renko chart as an overlay. This can be done by creating alerts on the instrument's chart and then applying the Renko chart as an overlay to the alerts.

Alternatively, you can use another charting platform that supports Renko charts and has alerting capabilities.

Please note that, Renko chart as a standalone chart in TradingView is not supported as of my knowledge cut-off date and it may change in the future
